Mysuru: Miscreants, who gained entry into Kanakagiri Government High School by breaking open the lock of the School during Deepavali holidays between Nov.6 and 8, have decamped with items worth about Rs.12,476 from the School.
The burglars have decamped with one side-drum, two bugles, one bass drum, two drum sticks, five plates, 25 tumblers, one ladle, two side-drum belts, one volleyball net, two carom boards, one world map, one India outline map, one human chart, one animal cell chart and bio visual charts from the school.
The school was closed from Nov. 6 to 8 for Deepavali festival and the theft came to light when the staff came to open the school on Nov.9, according to the complaint lodged by the school’s Head Master Mallikarjuna.
Vidyaranyapuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
