Govind Karjol, 73, is the eldest; Sagar Khandre, 26, the youngest MP from State

Bengaluru: While 73-year old Govind Karjol of the BJP, who won from Chitradurga (SC) seat is the eldest MP to win from the State, 26-year-old Sagar Khandre, son of Minister Eswhar Khandre, who won from Bidar seat, is the youngest MP from the State. Sagar defeated Union Minister Bhagwanth Khuba of BJP by a margin of over 1.28 lakh votes. Sagar is also said to be the youngest MP in the country to enter Parliament following 2024 LS polls.
