Gowri – Ganesha festival: KSPCB to provide mobile idol immersion vehicle facility

Mysuru: Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB), Mysuru Regional Office-1, has arranged environmental-friendly vehicles with mobile idol immersion facility on the occasion of Gowri-Ganesha festival on Sept. 7 in the city. The three vehicles will be stationed at the following places at the designated timings:

Vehicle-1

Near Metagalli Police Station: 4 pm – 5.15 pm.

 K.D. Circle, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage: 5.30 pm – 6.45 pm.

Near Chandramouleshwara temple/Mathrumandali Circle, Vontikoppal: 7 pm – 8.15 pm.

Near main entrance of Kukkarahalli Lake: 8.30 pm -10.30 pm.

Near Vikram Hospital, Yadavagiri: 4 pm – 5.15 pm.

Near Shanthala Talkies: 5.30 pm – 6.45 pm.

Near main entrance of Karanji Lake: 8.30 pm – 10.30 pm.

Near Jayanagar Railway Gate: 5.30 pm – 6.45 pm.

Near Gobbali Mara Stop, J.P. Nagar: 7 pm – 8.15 pm.

Near main entrance of Lingambudhi Lake, Srirampura: 8.30 pm – 10.30 pm.

No meat sale

The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Health Officer has issued a ban order on sale of meat on Sept. 7 on account of Ganesha Chaturthi festival. Hence, all the meat shops and slaughter houses have been ordered to down the shutters on the said date, according to a press release.
