Mysore/Mysuru: Following announcement of Gram Panchayat (GP) polls and model code of conduct in force, the Excise Department officials, who conducted 165 raids from Nov. 30 to Dec. 17 in Mysuru Rural District limits, have registered a total of 116 cases besides arresting 102 accused and seizing liquor worth Rs. 10,17,912 and 18 vehicles.
The seized liquor consists 553.192 litres hard liquor and 16.470 litres beer, according to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, Mysuru Rural District.
