Mysore/Mysuru: Graduation Day of Farooqia College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, was held recently. Dr. Shachindra Nargund, Director, Nargund College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru and S. Kasturi, CEO, Founder Partner, SRK Health Care, were the chief guests. Delivering the graduation address, Dr. Nargund advised students to rely on books more than google and Kasturi guided youngsters to be careful regarding technology abuse.
The duo also distributed Certificates to B.Pharm, Pharm-D & Pharm-D (PB) graduates. On the occasion, the College feted University toppers of the institution for the academic year 2021-22.
Ruksar Banu was felicitated for receiving Prof. M.L. Khorana Medal, a prestigious award instituted by IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association) for scoring highest marks in the Final year B. Pharm examinations amongst all the Universities and Colleges in India. A cash prize of Rs. 10,000 was given by Waseem-ur-Rahman Shariff, ADC (donor of the award in memory of his mother to B. Pharm topper).
