Mysuru: St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru, will be holding its Second Graduation Day for the MBA and MCA graduating batches in the college auditorium in Bannimantap on Aug. 3 at 10 am.
The ceremony will be presided over by Rev. Dr. Lourdu Prasad Joseph, Rector, St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous), Mysuru, who will deliver the Presidential Address. The chief guest, Dr. S.R. Niranjana, Vice-Chairman, Karnataka State Higher Education Council (KSHEC), Government of Karnataka, former Vice-Chancellor, Gulbarga University and Distinguished Professor (Life-Long), Department of Studies in Biotechnology, University of Mysore, will deliver the Graduation Address, inspiring the graduates with his vast experience in higher education, research, innovation and academic leadership.
The Graduation Ceremony will include the academic procession, invocation, lighting of the lamp, graduation pledge, conferment of degrees, presentation of medals and certificates and felicitation of outstanding graduates. Students will receive their course completion certificate.
The programme will also be attended by Rev. Fr. S. Roshan, Finance Officer; Dr. Ravi J.D. Saldanha, Principal; Dr. N. Suresh Narayanarao, Director, AICTE Programmes; V.U. Reena Mol, Head, Department of MCA; Dr. Issac George, Head, Department of MBA; faculty members, students, parents, alumni and invited guests.
