Mysuru: Graduation Day-2025 of St. Philomena’s College, Bannimantap, Mysuru was held at the College’s indoor stadium in city recently.
College Principal Dr. Ravi J.D. Saldanha welcomed and shared thoughts for the graduates’ future endeavours.
Prof. Dr. B. Chandrashekara, Regional Joint Director, Department of Collegiate Education, Mysuru, who was the chief guest delivered an inspiring address to the graduates.
The Rector administered the Graduation Oath, symbolising students’ commitment to uphold values of wisdom and service.
The ceremonial Passing on the Lamp of Wisdom was followed by distribution of scholarships recognising academic excellence and meritorious achievements.
Rev. Dr. Lourdu Prasad Joseph, Rector and Manager, delivered the Presidential address, lauding the students and staff for their efforts in achieving academic and personal growth.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by A. Thomas Gunaseelan, IQAC Coordinator, followed by singing of the National Anthem.
The entire event was coordinated by Dr. V. Deepa, Co-coordinator of IQAC. Ronald Prakash Cutinha, Vice-Principal (Administration), William Joseph, Head of the Department of English, Rev. Sr. Angeline Vimal, Convener of the programme, Academic Deans and Administrative Heads were present.
