Gram Panchayat employees’ indefinite stir from July 23

Msore/Mysuru: Seeking fulfilment of their demands, Gram Panchayat (GP) employees, under the banner of Karnataka State Gram Panchayat Employees Association, will stage an indefinite stir at Freedom Park in Bengaluru from July 23.

Their demands include minimum wages of Rs. 31,000, consideration of Bill Collectors, Clerks, Data Entry Operators, Watermen and Sweepers serving in GPs as Government employees, minimum monthly pension of Rs. 6,000, payment of hospital bills and transfer facility, among others.
