Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust, Mysuru, will be presenting a vocal concert by city’s eminent vocalist Vid. N.R. Prashanth tomorrow at 6 pm at Mysore K. Vasudevacharya Bhavana, Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, JLB Road here.

Vid. Prashanth will be accompanied by Vid. Keshav Mohankumar on violin, Vid. Kanchana Eshwara Bhat on mridanga and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata.

Vid. Prashanth learnt music under eminent gurus, Vid. R.K. Padmanabha, Vid. Thitte Krishna Iyengar, Vidu. Neela Ramagopal and presently under Scholar Prof. R. Visweswaran.

He has performed in many major platforms and worked in collaborative projects with scholars such as Dr. Raja Ramanna and N. Rajagopalan  in publications brought out by NIAS, IISc, Bengaluru, BVB, Mumbai, Indian Classicals, Chennai etc.
