The medical stores and doctor clinics used to display plus signage in red colour which later was asked to be discontinued as Red Cross organisation brought legal restrictions for usage of their symbol by others.
At that time, doctors started using ancient Egyptian symbol called Caduceus, a symbol with a short staff entwined by two serpents, sometimes surmounted by wings replacing the red cross.
Now the medical stores have started putting up big plus or cross mark coloured green with LED lamps which are similar to the green light of traffic signal.
The medical shops which are nearer to the signal lights emitting the green light confuses the motorists mimicking the green light of traffic signal.
Hence, I request the authorities concerned to look into this and remove these green plus signages.
