Mysore/Mysuru: The 11-day Gruha Shobhe International Living Style Exhibition and Cake Show from Dolphin Bakers, which began on Dec. 15 at Maharaja’s College Grounds, is attracting a good crowd.
Cake replicas of Delhi Lotus Building, Qutub Minar and Red Fort from Dolphin Bakers are also big hits at the expo.
Ahead of Christmas and New Year, Dolphin Bakers have come out with its annual 13th Dolphin Cake Show at Gruha Shobhe. Cakes of various shapes and sizes are on display.
Briefing about cake replicas, Mohamed Nizar, CEO of Dolphin Bakers, said “Season special varieties of cakes like plum cakes, fruit cakes, banana cakes, ghee cakes, Irish cakes, walnut cakes and brownies are our speciality.”
“Thirteen different cake models worth around Rs. 6.5 lakh are on display. Among various replicas of cake, Delhi Lotus Building cake is 5 ft. in height, Qutub Minar is 10 ft. and Red Fort is 6 ft. in height — all these replicas made of various ingredients are cynosure of cake show. A total of 8 members (including the executive chef) worked 14 days for the completion of these replicas. Apart from this we have also come out with various other models. Booking of cakes for Christmas and for New Year is also undertaken at the exhibition,” he said.
There are more than 100 stalls displaying branded products like electronics, appliances, automobiles, furniture, paintings, carpets, modular kitchens among other products at the Gruha Shobhe Exhibition. Besides huge discounts and surprise gifts, many attractive offers on different products are available.
Separate food stalls have also been put up at the venue. Gruha Shobhe is an ideal platform for both participants and consumers. The artists are displaying and selling their products directly to consumers due to which their profit margin will also be good. At the same time the consumers are also benefiting with a good amount of discount.
Gruha Shobhe is open to public from 11 am to 9 pm till Dec. 25
