Gruha Shobhe Exhibition to conclude on Dec. 25

Mysuru: Minister for Sugar and Small Scale Industries Dr. Geetha Mahadevaprasad inaugurated one of the biggest International Living Style and Consumer Exhibition Gruha Shobhe at Maharaja’s College Grounds in city on Dec.16.

For the 8th time, this year too a unique Cake Show has been organised as part of the Exhibition where a replica of the Parliament building in Delhi has been created by Dolphin ‘Bakes N’ Ice Creams. The 13 ft tall and 30 ft wide cake weighing 7,449 kg is a star attraction at the exhibition. The bakers have used 3,800 kg of Icing Sugar, 5,100 eggs, 1,800 lemons and food grade natural colours.

This cake is the result of a month-long effort by a team of eight persons of Dolphin Bakes. Apart from this, many other types of seasonal cakes are also available for sale at the exhibition.

This winter, Gruha Shobhe is a one-stop-shop for the shopaholics who are on the lookout for bargains in electronic items, household appliances such as solar products, power saver, mixers, grinders, refrigerators, washing machine, TV, juicers, water purifiers, vegetable choppers of various makes, apart from hair-dryers, hair-straighteners and even body massagers. Furniture of different varieties too are available for consumers.

For foodies, various food stalls serving delicious snacks are another point of attraction while children can have a great time at the amusement park set up at Gruha Shobhe, which is open to public from 11 am to 9 pm till Dec. 25.
