Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, participated in the QS I∙GAUGE rating audit governed by the current version of QS I∙GAUGE methodology. The process involved gathering independent survey responses from various stakeholders, namely, students, faculty and alumni and data input sheet by the institution. After 6 months of rigorous audit process, GSSSIETW was awarded the overall Silver rating.
The major achievements were in the areas of facilities, teaching learning process, employability and entrepreneurship.
QS I.GAUGE is a brand incorporated in India as an independent private-sector initiative specialised in rating Colleges and Universities. It brings together the global expertise, experience and reputation of UK-based QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), along with deep local knowledge of luminaries from Indian higher education.
The Silver rating was achieved with the maximum contribution of NBA accredited branches (ECE, CSE, ISE, TCE and EIE — accredited for the period July 2017 to June 2020) in the areas of Teaching Learning Process, Faculty Quality, Employability, Student survey, Facilities, Social responsibility. Also GSSSIETW has shown tremendous progress in MSME Incubation Centre, Innovation Cell, IPR Cell and EDC Cell activities for the benefit of the students. Also GSSSIETW is in the process of uploading Self Study Report for NAAC Accreditation soon.
