GSSSIETW signs MoU to bridge the gap between Industry and Academia

Mysore/Mysuru: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru and Deshila Technology Research Institute (DTRI), Mysuru, on  June 4 at GSSSIETW premises to bridge the gap between Industry and Academia.

By signing this MoU, GSSSIETW and DTRI have agreed to explore a collaborative approach which is mutually beneficial to the students and the Industry.

DTRI will offer industry standard projects and internships to students in adherence to college and VTU guidelines. Hands-on training in latest technologies will be provided to interested students paving way to seek job opportunities in core companies.

Platform for upskilling faculties and research activities will be arranged as per requirements on a regular basis.

GSSSIETW in association with DTRI will frame additional skill development activities meeting the Industry standards. Awareness on technology trends in 5G Communication and IoT domain will be given more focus under this MoU programme.

The MoU was signed by Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW and Kiran C. Marathe, Founder and CEO, DTRI.
