GSSSIETW students get jab

Mysore/Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), KRS Road, Metagalli, Mysuru, in association with the Department of Health, Mysuru, had organised a one-day COVID-19 vaccination drive on July 3 in the institute campus to benefit the students of GSSSIETW, GSSS SOAW and GSSS SSFGC, Mysuru. 

More than 500 students had been vaccinated with Covaxin during the drive. Prior to the vaccination, RT-PCR test was carried out to all those who attended the drive. Dr. S. Bellappa, Professor & Head, Dept. of Chemistry and Dr. M. Yogesh, Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of Mechanical coordinated, with the Health Officials in organising the drive successfully.  The Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) given by the Government of Karnataka was strictly followed during the vaccination drive.
