GTD launches Rs. 3.3 crore developmental works

Mysore/Mysuru: Continuing his developmental activities in his constituency, Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda (GTD) on Wednesday launched a spree of developmental works totally worth Rs. 3.32 crore in different villages coming under the Assembly segment.

The works included road and drainage construction at a cost of Rs. 1.5 crore, including the MUDA civil works at Dasanakoppalu, road and drainage  construction works at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh at K. Salundi village, road and drainage construction works costing Rs. 50 lakh at Nanjarajayyanahundi village, road and drainage works of Rs. 50 lakh at Dhanagalli village, construction of school rooms at a cost of Rs. 12 lakh out of the Local Legislators Development Fund, construction of Basava Bhavan costing Rs. 10 lakh and construction of new building of Primary Agriculture Credit Co-operative Society building at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh, all at Dhanagalli.

Speaking  on the occasion, GTD asked the contractors to carry out quality works. 

Stressing on the need for maintaining construction standards in all works, he warned of action against the contractors and the officials for any lapses in works  or compromise on quality.

Local leaders Kotehundi Mahadev, Maaki Mahdev, Kallipalya Ramesh, Shambhugowda, Devaraju, Raju, Jayaram, Suresh and others were present during the occasion.
