Guarding the garbage?

Sir,

Metallic traffic control guards (barricades) belonging to Mysore Traffic Police are found abandoned on II Cross, Umar Khayam Road, Tilak Nagar, Mysuru-1 (near Canara Bank Branch). These were brought to site during Ramzan to control heavy traffic/vehicles into Eidgah Maidan for prayers.

One can see such metal barricades lying on many roads in Mysuru, some damaged. They have been purchased with public money and it is the duty of the owners (Traffic Police) to properly maintain them. If citizens find such guards lying at odd places in their wards, they must immediately call the area Police Station or the Police Control Room and inform the location to enable them to collect the same and keep them safe for use on some other occasion. This is not a complaint but a reminder.
