‘Guddali puja’ for new block in Maharani’s Science College

Mysore/Mysuru: Chamaraja MLA L. Nagendra performed ‘Guddali Puja’ (Ground-breaking Ceremony) for a new block at Maharani’s  Science First Grade College for Women here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagendra said that the block will be of four floors and is being built at a cost of Rs. 7.8 crore. The ground floor will have a floor area of 794.21 sq. mts., first and second floors 701.20 sq. mts. each and the third floor will have five laboratories, 20 class rooms and four washrooms, he said and added that the block is being constructed fully out of the State Government grants.

Corporator Pramila Bharath, College Principal Shanthappa, Joint Director of Collegiate Education Mugeshappa, BJP leaders Somashekararaju, Puneeth, Sachin, Aravind, Devaraj, Nagesh, Jyothi, Balaram and others were present.
