Guest lecturer’s cell phone snatched while boarding bus

Mysore/Mysuru: A miscreant snatched the mobile phone of a guest lecturer while he was boarding a bus at City Bus Stand.

The guest lecturer, who lost his mobile phone, is 29-year-old G.M. Manu, a resident of G. Marahalli village in Nanjangud taluk, who is serving at a private college in city.

On May 28 at about 5 pm, Manu was boarding the bus at the platform where buses to Suttur depart, during which a miscreant snatched the mobile phone he was holding and fled from the spot.

Though Manu chased the miscreant, the phone snatcher fled on Sayyaji Rao Road and escaped.

A case has been registered at Devaraja Police Station.
