Parvesh Bhainswal produced a terrific defensive performance as Gujarat Fortunegiants defeated UP Yoddha 44-19 in the Pro Kabaddi League match here yesterday. With two wins from as many games, Gujarat Fortunegiants now are atop the table.

Bhainswal scored 6 tackle points and Rohit Gulia, who completed a Super 10, led the raiding charge for Gujarat Fortunegiants.

In Match 2 on the day, Patna Pirates defeated Telugu Titans 34-22 as their defenders didn’t allow Suraj Desai and Siddharth Desai to score raid point.

Siddharth Desai was out of court for more than 20 minutes and failed to take his team forward as Jaideep and Hadi tackled him on most of the occasions.
