Gummattira Prabhu (71), son of late Gummattira Muthanna of Bairambada village near Ammathi in Kodagu, passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Saturday.

The last rites of Prabhu, who had retired as an Engineer from Kirloskar Company, was held at his native Bairambada yesterday.
