Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Durga Foundation, Mysuru, has organised a programme for the presentation of Guru Seva Ratna Awards to teachers of various field marking the National Teachers Day celebrations.
The award will be presented to N. Deepa (Education), Akshay Mahanth (Sports), Vid. S. Krishnamurthy (Religious), Yogacharya B. Shantaram (Yoga), Jasila (Medical), Vidu. S.N. Meghna Rao (Art & Culture) and Ashwini P. Gowda (Beautician).
The awards will be presented at a programme at Jeevadhara Blood Bank Centre on Sayyaji Rao Road on Sept. 5 at 11 am.
MLC C.N. Manjegowda, former MUDA Chairman Yashaswi Somashekar, former Mayors Ayub Khan, Sandesh Swamy, Blood Bank Director Girish and others will be the chief guests.
