Three top IPS Officers are eligible for the post — DGP (Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF) Neelamani N. Raju; DGP (CID) H.C. Kishore Chandra and DGP (ACB) M.N. Reddi. DGP (CID) Kishore Chandra is likely to be the new State Police Chief, according to sources.
