Mysuru: State Award-winning child artiste Siri Vanalli launched the children’s play titled ‘Hakkigala Jeevabhava’ at a programme organised by Kannada and Culture Department in association with Kadamba Ranga Vedike at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, she said the play seeks to send a message that humans, animals, trees are all part of the nature and a co-existential living will bring happiness in the world.
Noting that there are very few children’s plays that are performed publicly, she said that the Vedike had provided a platform for promoting children’s play.
Pointing out that the play is scripted by writer Dr. Malali Vasanthakumar, she lauded the efforts of Director H.S. Kavitha in making it a successful play. She also thanked veteran theatre personality Rajashekar Kadamba for promoting the play. Theatre Director H.S. Kavitha was felicitated on the occasion. Likitha and Niharika (songs and music composition), Ashwath Kadamba (make-up), K.C. Srinivas and Meghana Jadhav (costume design); G. Subbanarasimha, Ramesh Babu and others are part of the play.
