Handloom Expo at IEI from Mar. 15 to 21

The Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers’ Co-operative Society Ltd., popularly known as ‘CO-OPTEX,’ has been instrumental in promoting the Handloom weaving craft in Tamil Nadu since 1935. Co-optex today has over 2.5 lakh registered Weavers and 200 Showrooms  across India.

An expo-cum-sale to showcase the weaves from Tamil Nadu has been organised at The Institution of Engineers-India (IEI), Mysuru Local Centre, on JLB Road, from Mar. 15 to 21 with ‘Buy 2 Get 1 Free’ offer Silk Sarees, Kanchipuram, Arni, Coimbatore Soft Silk, Designer Silk Sarees, Cotton Sarees, Kora Cotton Sarees, Bridegroom set, Bedsheets, Pillow Covers, Lungies, Carpets, Towels, Kurthies, Chudidhar Materials, Nighties, Petty Coats, Floor Mat and Readymade Shirt. For single item, customers can avail 20% discount.

Dy. Commissioner D. Randeep will inaugurate the expo at 11 am tomorrow (Mar. 15).

Co-optex has introduced Organic Cotton Sarees which is produced by pure cotton with natural colours without mixing any chemicals. The Organic Cotton Sarees seems to be very rich to wear and weightless when compared to normal  Cotton Sarees.

In Bengaluru Region, Co-optex has 14 showrooms with the new showrooms opened at Ulsoor & Koramangala and in Mysuru at No.1468, D-33, Narayana Shastri Road, Shivarampet.
