Hanuma Jayanti will be celebrated at the historical Sri Anjaneyaswamy Temple, First Cross, Vinoba Road in city tomorrow (Dec.9). The rituals will commence at 8 am. Mahamandaleshwar Seer Sri Akhileshwaranandagiri Swamiji will deliver a discourse at 4 pm, following which a grand procession will be taken out from the Temple at 6 pm. The procession will pass through Vinoba Road, D. Devaraj Urs Road, Shivayana Mutt Road, Bidaram Krishnappa Road, N.S. Road, Kotwal Ramaiah Street and other thoroughfares in and around the locality. The Ratha Prakarotsava will take place at 5.30 pm, following which ‘Prasada’ will be distributed to devotees. Also, Sahasra Deepotsava will take place at 6 pm on Dec.10.
