Hanumegowda (99), a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away last night in city.
He leaves behind his son Kemparajegowda (retired DDPI), daughter Vijayalakshmi and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Hindagoodlu village in Hunsur taluk this afternoon, according to family sources.
