September 25, 2017

Hassan: The doors of the famous Hassanamba Temple in the town will be opened on Oct. 12.  The deity is known to offer ‘Darshan’ to the devotees only once in a year.

On the opening day on Oct. 12, pujas and rituals will be performed to the deity. The temple will be thrown open to the devotees from Oct. 13 for nine days.

The temple will be open all 24 hours of the day, barring puja hours, to facilitate the devotees to have ‘Darshan’ of the deity.

Although the temple will be open for a total of 11 days, it will be open for devotees only for 9 days, according to the Hassan District Administration.
