Mysore/Mysuru: The 272nd birth anniversary celebration of Hazarath Tipu Sultan, organised by Hazarath Tipu Sultan Central Urus & Welfare Committee, Tipu Hall, Meena Bazar on Sawday Road in Lashkar Mohalla was held in city recently.
A delegation comprising retired KEB employee Khaizer Pasha, social worker Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, Ahmed Pasha Khadree, Majid Towfiq Khan, social worker Syed Sakhif, social worker Inzaman-ul-Haq, President of Chishtiya Foundation Group Khwaja Mohammed Musheer Chishti, Wrestler K.M. Nawaz, Lala Miyan of Physical Education Institute in Mandi Mohalla and others, under the leadership of Committee Secretary Mohammed Afroz Pasha proceeded from Tipu Hall to Tipu Tomb in Srirangapatna.
Hazarath Moulana Inayath Ur Rehaman Razvi Saheb, Shahi Imam of Masjid Aqsa, Tipu Tomb, offered Fatha Khawni, Duwa Shariff for the development of India and for health, wealth and prosperity of all. Flower mat, chadar and shawl were spread on the shrine and sweets were distributed. Afroz Pasha had organised mass feeding at Tipu Tomb main entrance gate.
Later, social worker Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi felicitated Afroz Pasha on the occasion.
