HDK holds interaction with flood victims in Kodagu

Madikeri: Even as relief measures and rehabilitation of flood victims of Kodagu is underway, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) held an interaction with the flood victims at Gandhi Maidan in Madikeri this noon. About 1,000 flood-affected victims took part in the interaction, during which the CM assured of all government help.

Even though the interaction was scheduled at 11 am, the CM arrived only after 12 noon. After the interaction, HDK will hold a meeting with District officials at the DC Office, following which he is likely to address a press meet.

The CM will attend Cauvery Theerthodbhava at Talacauvery to take place at 6.43 pm today and will return to Mysuru thereafter and stay for the night.

CM’s schedule in city on Oct.18 and 19

CM Kumaraswamy will visit Hebbal Lake at 8 am tomorrow (Oct.18) and thereafter will leave for Mandya where he will attend several programmes. He will return to Mysuru and stay for the night.

On Oct.19, Vijayadashami Day, the CM will visit Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 9 am and thereafter take part in Dasara celebrations. He will inaugurate Vijayadashami procession by performing puja to Nandi Dhwaja in the Palace premises at 2.30 pm. He will take part in Torch Light Parade at Bannimantap Torch Light Parade grounds at 7 pm and then leave for Bengaluru by road at 10.30pm, according to a release.
