Kollegal: A Head Master of a Government School died after slipping and falling from his bike on the main road in front of Kollegal School for Speech and Hearing Impaired yesterday. The deceased is Mahadevashetty, HM of Hanur Government Model School and a resident of Madhuvanahalli in the taluk.

Mahadevashetty, who left for his school yesterday morning, reportedly rode into a pothole on the main road in front of Kollegal School for Speech and Hearing Impaired, lost control of the bike and fell on the road, resulting in him suffering serious head injuries and died on the spot.

Kollegal Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to the Govt. Sub-Division Hospital mortuary, where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.

Kollegal Town Police have registered a case.
