Health awareness for women at JSS Hospital tomorrow

As part of International Women’s Day celebration, Jnanajyothi Institute in association with JSS Hospital, Mysuru, has organised an awareness programme on health for women and distribution of certificates on Mar. 22 at 11.30 am at JSS Hospital premises in city, said M.S. Hemavathi, Founder Secretary of Jnanajyothi Institute.

Executive Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, MCC Development Officer Suresh Babu, MDJA President K. Deepak, All India Women’s Federation Joint Secretary Ashitha and others will be present as chief guests.

Addressing the press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Hemavathi said that Jnanajyothi Institute has been organising many programmes on women empowerment and has been imparting various training  programmes  for women to stand on their feet.

On the occasion, certificates will be distributed to those who have undergone training conducted by various departments, she said and added that Indiramma, a lady who is taking care of newborns and post-delivery mothers, Shamim Taj, who is imparting various training programmes, Pavithra, an Anganwadi worker, Shobha, who is creating items from wastes, would be felicitated.
