Heblikar’s ‘Mana Manthana’ to be screened tomorrow

Mysuru: As a tribute to her father late N. Ashwathanarayan, whose birth-centenary falls this year, Dr. Veena Bharathi, in association with Indian Medical Association (IMA), Mysuru and Indian Psychiatric Association (IPA), Mysuru, has  organised a special screening of the Kannada movie ‘Mana Manthana’ directed by Suresh Heblikar on Aug. 13 at DRC Cinema at Jayalakshmipuram between 10 am and 12 noon.

Ashwathanarayan was the first entrepreneur from Mysuru to start a movie theatre in Chamarajanagar. The movie ‘Mana Manthana’ deals with modern day relationships, generation-gap and suicidal tendencies among youngsters.

The story for the movie is written by Dr. Ashok Pai, who has also produced the movie through Manasa Creations, Shivamogga owned by Dr. Rajani Pai, his wife. The show is exclusively for the Mysuru branch IMA-doctors, Psychiatrists and invited media members.

Soon after the screening, there will an interaction programme between 12.15 pm and 12.45 pm.
