Heritage city turning into garbage city

October 12, 2023

Sir,

The heritage city of Mysuru was once or twice been awarded the cleanest city tag. Unfortunately, now it has become a garbage city with every corner, vacant site and even the Ring Road with its service roads being the places for throwing garbage indiscriminately.

It is high time the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) authorities take action on a war-footing to clear the garbage mess and showcase our city as a clean city for the tourists descending on Mysuru for Dasara.
