Hero Women’s Indian Open Golf Tournament: Christine Wolf triumphs; City’s Pranavi fares well

Christine Wolf of Australia won Hero Women’s Indian Open Golf Tournament with a four-day aggregate score of 11-under 277 (73+68+67+68) at DLF Golf and County Club, Gurugram recently.

Mysuru’s Pranavi S. Urs (JWGC) fared well in the tournament and finished with a four-day aggregate score of 11-over-299 (71+79+74+75) and finished 47th in final ranking. Incidentally, Pranavi led the pack of Indian women golfers after an excellent first round of one-under-71. She gained valuable exposure taking part in the tournament.

Marianne Skarpnord (Norway) with a card of 8-under-280 (68+71+71+70) secured the second place, while Meghan MacLaren (England) with a four-day aggregate card of 7-under-281 (67+73+69+72) secured the third place. India’s Anika Verma finished fifth with a four-day card of 3-under-285 (76+72+67+70).
