Pranavi Urs from Mysuru placed tied sixth
Chandigarh’s amateur golfer Hunar Mittal with a par-72 on day one emerged as the sole leader in the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour 2020 – Leg 6 played at the Classic Golf and Country Club in Gurugram yesterday.
At the end of the first round, Neha Tripathi and last-leg winner Vani Kapoor, with a score of 1-over-73, are placed second. Asmitha Sathish, another amateur golfer and Gaurika Bishnoi, with a tied card of two-over-74, are placed joint fifth, while Mysuru’s professional golfer Pranavi S. Urs, with a day one card of three-over 75, is placed tied sixth with four other women golfers.
Another Mysuru golfer, Sonam Chugh, turned up with a first day score of seven-over-79 and is placed tied 14th.
