Hi-tech water dispenser donated to MDJA

Mysore/Mysuru: K. Mahendra Singh Kalappa, a Bannur-based philanthropist and President of Parisara Jagruthi Vedike,  donated a hi-tech hot and cold water dispenser to Mysuru District Journalists’ Association (MDJA) in city recently.

Speaking on the occasion, he  said, “Consumption of hot water, especially amidst Covid-19 crisis and winter days, would boost the health as it would help in controlling  the spread of water-borne diseases.” 

“Considering the efforts of journalists, who have been working tirelessly in the frontline, despite the prevailing Covid crisis, I wished to provide something to safeguard the health of scribes as they are vulnerable to the virus. Thus, the hot and cold water dispenser was donated,” he added. 

The water dispenser was installed at MDJA Office on Thyagaraja Road Cross. 

MDJA President S. T. Ravikumar, General Secretary M. Subramanya, Vice-President M.S. Anurag Basavaraj, Treasurer Nagesh Panathale, Secretary P. Rangaswamy and Writer Bannur K. Raju were present on the occasion.
