Hindi workshop held at AIISH

All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, recently conducted the fourth one-day Hindi workshop for the institute staff members. Dr. S. R. Savithri, Director, AIISH, inaugurated the workshop.

Addressing the gathering, the Director urged the participants to adopt the knowledge gained from the Hindi workshop in their day-to-day official work.

Dr. Sarvesh Mourya, Assistant Professor, Regional Institute of Education, Mysuru, delivered the guest lecture on theoretical and practical aspects of Official Language and its implementation.

He stressed on the importance of having knowledge of as many of Indian languages as possible.

He also urged the staff to make use of Hindi for official purposes in their daily routine which paves way for all-round development of the nation.

The other sessions included topics like ‘Use of Official Language in the Workshops set up’ and ‘Hindi in Social Life.’
