Hit-and-run: Pedestrian killed

Mysuru: A pedestrian was killed on-the-spot when an unidentified vehicle rammed into him on Mysuru-Hunsur Main Road here on Friday night. The deceased is Kantharaju (40), a resident of Hootagalli in city.

Kantharaju was walking on the roadside near Hootagalli on Friday at about 10.45 pm, when an unidentified vehicle rammed into him from behind and sped away resulting in Kantharaju being killed on-the-spot, according to the Police.

A case has been registered at V.V. Puram Traffic Police Station.
