Mandya: In a case of hit-and-run, a bike rider was killed when a car rammed into the bike and sped away at K.R. Pet in Mandya district.
The deceased has been identified as Kumar (33), a resident of Hosaholalu village. Kumar was proceeding towards K.R. Pet, when a speeding car rammed into the bike from behind at M. Bommegowda Circle and sped away.
Passersby, who noticed Kumar seriously injured, informed the Police and tried to shift Kumar to a hospital when he breathed his last mid way.
K.R. Pet Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
