Hockey Mysore Invitation Cup-2024 from Jan. 18

Hockey Mysore will be rolling out an Invitation Cup-2024 from Jan. 18 to 21 at University of Mysore Hockey Grounds in city.

In all, 12 teams — comprising 5 top district teams, 5 institutional teams from Bengaluru and 2 teams from Kodava Hockey Academy — have been selected.

The district teams are: Hockey Dharwad, Hockey Hassan, Hockey Raichur, Hockey Belagum and Hockey Ballari.

The Institutional teams are: Agorc, Customs, Dyes, Meg boys and South Western Railway.

The teams from Kodava Hockey Academy are the last year’s winners of Appachettolanda Cup — Kuppanda Kaikeri and Nellamakada teams. The winner will be awarded cash prize Rs. 2,00,000; Runner – Rs. 1,50,000, 3rd place – Rs. 1,00,000, 4th place – Rs. 50,000 and trophies.
