SBRR Mahajana FGC registered a big 5-0 win over AIISH, Mysuru and entered the second round in the Chief Justice Hombegowda Memorial Gold Cup UoM Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament 2018, played at the University Grounds here yesterday.
A brace by right-out Hemanth (20th, 35th) and centre-forward Nitin Siddu (23rd, 42nd) were the highlight of the game. Shiraz (56th minute) was the other scorer for the winner. In the other game, sapient College, Mysuru beat NIE FGC 6-0.
Centre-forward Jeevan scored four goals (including a hat-trick) in the 4th, 8th, 14th & 39th minutes. Steiner (5th) and Dwijesh (11th minute) were the other goal scorers.
