Home Nurse held for stealing gold bangles

Four gold bangles worth Rs. 2.5 lakh recovered

Mysore/Mysuru: Vidyaranyapuram Police, based on a complaint, have arrested a woman Home Nurse on charges of stealing gold bangles from the house she was working and have recovered the stolen items from her. 

The arrested woman is 35-year-old Meenakshi of Bannimantap. Meenakshi was working at the house of one Dr. Subramaniyan in Vidyaranyapuram and was staying in the house. 

During interrogation, the accused is said to have confessed of stealing four gold bangles weighing about 60 grams from the cupboard when the family members were away. 

Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered the stolen items worth Rs. 2.5 lakh from her.

Ramesh, K. Sridhar Murthy, Uma Mahesh, Ravi, Mamatha, Dhanalakshmi and Jyothi in the nabbing and recovery operation.
