Mysuru/Mysore:  An auto driver has displayed honesty by returning the purse that he found lying on the road to its rightful owner.

The auto driver who returned the purse is Rafiq. Yesterday morning, Rafiq was passing on Bamboo Bazaar Road when he saw the purse lying on the roadside. Rafiq, who picked up the purse, went through its contents and found Rs. 2,000 cash, credit and debit cards and a few visiting cards of the owner of the purse.

After calling the number printed on the visiting card, Rafiq came to know that the purse belonged to BJP Chamaraja Constituency President Somashekar. 

Rafiq waited till Somashekar arrived at the spot and then handed over the purse to him.
