Mysuru: Honnamma (90), wife of late B. Nanjaiah, passed away at her daughter’s residence at Vidyaranyapuram here this morning following brief illness.
She leaves behind her daughter Lakshmi, son-in-law Shivarame Gowda, Hon. Secretary of Mysore District Chess Association (MDCA), grandson Grand Master M.S. Thejkumar and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed this evening at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to sources.
