Hoovamma (86), a resident of Dattagalli, passed away on Jan.14 at her residence here following brief illness. She leaves behind three sons including Department of Public Instruction Officer Horalavadi Nanjundaswamy, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at her native place Horalavadi village in Nanjangud taluk yesterday, according to family sources.
