Horalawadi Puttaswamy (72), a senior politician of the taluk and a Veerashaiva community leader, passed away at his residence yesterday.
He leaves behind his wife, two sons including BJP Taluk President P. Mahesh, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his farm land in Horalawadi, according to family sources.
