Horticulture Department launches Kera Suraksha Insurance

Scheme to cover tree climbers, neera extractors and coconut pluckers

  • The Coconut Development Board of Horticulture Department has introduced Kera Suraksha Insurance Scheme covering tree climbers, neera extractors, coconut pluckers etc.

The insurance premium is priced at Rs.398.65 per year, with farmers having to bear just Rs.99 while the rest (Rs.299.65) will be borne by the Coconut Development Board.
