Accused had decamped with gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees

Mysuru: Udayagiri Police have arrested two persons on charges of breaking into a locked house in city and decamping with gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees. The arrested persons have been identified as 22-year-old Murali of B.M. Sri Nagar and a 16-year-old boy.

The duo had stolen gold ornaments weighing about 50 grams from the house of one Sadashiva in Ganesh Nagar and had gone absconding. The Police traced them in Pandavapura and arrested them besides subjecting them to interrogation. The Police said that the duo had cases of burglaries against them in various Police Stations and investigations were going on.
