House burgled in Chamarajapuram

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen gold ornaments, silver articles, bike and household items from a house at Chamarajapuram in city.

The burglary took place at the house of H.N. Prakash, a resident of Geetha Road in Chamarajapuram here. Prakash, who had gone to his relative’s house on Feb. 10 returned home on Feb. 11 only to find the lock of the front door broken and the door left ajar. On inspecting the house, Prakash found 12 gram gold chain, 9 gram finger ring, two silver plates, one Hero Honda bike, two silver puja articles, two rosewood mantapas, one teapoy, six teakwood chairs and one table, one dining table, one gas stove and two LPG cylinders, worth Rs. 2.35 lakh stolen and has lodged a complaint at Lakshmipuram Police Station.

The Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
